Leadership Team
Dirk Shimpach, CPA - President
“Software is not a one-time event. It’s a journey and you should grow with it.”
Long-term, consultative relationships is something that President and Founder, Dirk Shimpach, is passionate about. “I didn’t believe in installing software and walking away. Software isn’t a one-time event. It’s a journey and you should grow with it. I founded the firm to help companies continuously improve the way they do business through their software.”
Since founding the firm in 2005, Dirk has taken a personal ownership in helping his clients solve their business problems. Before he even talks about software, he wants to understand their business, how they conduct business operationally, what is and is not working and what they need. This consultative approach fosters solutions that help his clients better leverage their software, gives them the information they need to make better decisions and often helps free up time by automating processes.
A former Controller and Financial Analysts and a CPA, Dirk spent over a decade in business management roles. This background allows him to quickly understand opportunities for improvement across all business departments from sales and marketing to finance and operations. With over 15 years in the CRM, ERP and Accounting software space, there isn’t much he hasn’t seen.
As the leader of goVirtualOffice, Dirk works to foster this same consultative approach in his team by leveraging the unique talents and operational experience of the professionals that make up the team today.
Recognizing his experience, Dirk is a frequent speaker among various associations and conferences like the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Wisconsin CPA Society and the NetSuite Customer Conference. Dirk is an active volunteer and supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
He holds degrees in both Accounting and Finance with deep IT business solutions experience.
“When business software is setup correctly, people fully understand the capabilities and possible uses, and are adequately trained. Business software should improve your company’s productivity and provide strong information reporting structure.”
